It is an essential oil obtained from its fruit. It has a strong, but sweet and pure smell and is colorless. This plant extract, which is mostly made in France, Sicily and North Africa, has an important raw material for perfumes as well as being used in pharmaceutical production. It will not be wrong to say that along with these, it forms the basic essence of more famous perfumes.
