TONGUE OF BEEF

It is an important raw material that the tongue of beef, which has a thick, purplish, reddish-colored root, was first produced in Egypt in the first centuries AD and is still grown in Egypt today. In addition to being a plant native to the Southeast, this plant also has a wide range of cultivation in European countries and Turkey. Beef tongue, the oil of which was used by the Hellenes and Romans to make perfumes attractive, is also used to give color to perfumes, using the color at the root of the plant.
